Operating Instructions
Step 1:
Connect the USB charging cord to the VM5 Vastmedic Cleaner USB port while connecting the other end of the charging cord into the USB charging port or wall outlet. Turn on the cleaner by pressing down on the ON/OFF button for 3 seconds until you hear a beep. A red light indicates the start of the cleaning cycle.

Step 2:
Briefly press on the ON/OFF button to switch between UC and ozone sterilization mode after hearing three beeps.

Step 3:
Turn off the cleaner by pressing on the ON/OFF button for 3 seconds until it beeps and the life goes off.

CAUTION:
Remove and empty water reservoir from CPAP machine before the sterilization process.

How to Use:
MODE A: UV Light Sterilization
1. Connect to USB.
2. Open the lid and put the CPAP mask into the chamber.
3. Close the lid.
4. Turn on the cleaner by pressing down on the ON/OFF button for 3 seconds until it beeps, indicating the default UV light mode has been activated.
5. The sterilization is complete after 5 minutes. The cleaner will then automatically go standby mode and beeps at the end of the cleaning cycle, as indicated by a flashing green light.
6. The cleaner will turn off automatically after 10 minutes.

MODE B: Ozone Sterilization
1. Connect to USB.
2. Open the lid and the inside seal cover.
3. Put the CPAP mask into the chamber and close the lid.
4. Turn on the cleaner by pressing down on the ON/OFF button for 3 seconds until it beeps. When the red light is on, briefly press the ON/OFF button again until you hear three beeps and the green light comes on. You now have successfully switched to the ozone sterilization mode which lasts for 30 minutes. When the ozone generator stops working, the fan continues to work for another 5 minutes.
5. When the entire cleaning cycle is done, the device automatically switches to the standby mode and beeps at the end of the cleaning cycle with a flashing green light.
6. The cleaner will turn off automatically after 10 minutes.

CAUTION:
Leave the mask and hose in the cleaner for 1 hour after the cleaning cycle allows residual activated oxygen (ozone) to revert to ordinary oxygen.

NOTES:

It’s recommended to clean your CPAP Hose, Mask, and Tube daily.

It’s recommended to clean your Vastmedic CPAP Cleaner weekly.

This product will not remove skin oils and mucus. To remove these fluids, you can wipe down your equipment with CPAP wipes or other cleaning methods as directed by your equipment manufacturer.

It’s easy to use and works great

This is the sign you’re looking for: Yes, buy this one.

Legitimately awesome. I just started a using a CPAP (Philips Dreamstation) about four months ago. I’m already COMPLETELY OVER having to clean it by hand everyday and not even being sure I’ve done it correctly. So I decided to get a CPAP cleaning machine and accepted having to part with a s**t ton of money! I searched around and was totally leaning toward the SoClean2 but something kept putting me off about it and I couldn’t say why. I searched around on Amazon and found this one. Not many reviews but I liked what I saw and I figured that at some point they’re all operating about the same. ANYWAY, I went ahead and ordered this one and I’m ALL THE WAY impressed right out of the box. Simple packaging but well protected. EASY set up directions that got me cleaning my CPAP in literally under 10 minutes from the time I first opened the Amazon box. I’m using it as I type this and am including pics so you can see it in “action”. I also want to mention that the thing that put this particular machine over the top versus the others was the ability to clean externally. Meaning, I don’t have to stick my tubing in the chamber and pray crossing my fingers and toes that somehow it still gets sanitized despite being a jumbled mess folded 80 times so it would fit. This makes me feel A TON better and I’m attaching pics of that also so you can see what I mean. Maybe other machines do that too but this seller made sure that pics/information was clearly in the description so that I knew that was an option.Final Verdict: Expensive? Yes. On par with other machines of its caliber per the price point? Yes. Worth trying it because you are also given the piece of mind that you’re operating through Amazon and have backup support in case of an issue? Duh!!! Lol.

Compact size is great for small mask

Does the job on my small mask. I wish it was large enough for bigger CPAP parts. I use a ziplock bag to sanitize my water chamber by running the hose to it and sealing it around the tube that comes off the adapter. It works to fit my resvent CPAP.

It’s simple to use and it takes so much less effort for me to ensure my CPAP machine is clean. Totally worth the investment. I recommend this product to anybody looking for an easier way to clean and sanitize!
