AlertCare Touch Free Infrared Forehead Thermometer measures temperature easily in just one second without touching your skin. It can be taken up to almost 2 inches (5cm) away from the subject. The thermometer is able to measure the temperature of the body, surface and room. It comes with a large LCD screen with 3 color-coded fever guidance so that you can easily read the results, and the built-in fever warning lets you know when someone has a fever.

How to use:
Step 1: Aim at the centre of forehead directly with the measuring distance of 1-2 inch. Make sure that the forehead is not blocked by hair, as well as set up the measurement mode of “BODY”. 
Step 2: Gently press the measurement button to start the test
Step 3: The temperature will be displayed when you hear the beep sound.

Just got it today. Readings were a little low. 97.6 and 97.8. So I calibrated to +1.3. Now temps are right around 98.6 degrees. I used a digital thermometer to check accuracy. All seems good now. Well worth the money. I mean way cheaper then others I priced. Seems well made and feels solid. Very happy with it.

No Ferenheit only Celsius

Awesome item the only thing is that it's only in celsius settings. Pretty accurate if there's a fever or warm/hot temperature it turns red and begins beeping. good quality recommend the item.

Easy to use and fairly accurate out the box

I bought this a few weeks ago, since we had a slight scare of covid in my house hold. We have oral thermometer but we wanted something that was more contactless.At first we did have issues getting it turned on, but after some wiggling got it worked just fine.We tested the oral thermometer on me as a baseline to see how accurate the contactless one is. It registered 97.3 for the oral. When we used the contactless it surprisingly registered the same.Would recommend this product if you want something easy to use and contactless
